Children Ministry

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15

Children Ministry

God gave us a great commission on how we bring up the children within our homes, church and our communities. He instructed Moses to have the families teach the children the ways of God, teach them the commandments morning, noon and night.

In Psalm 127:3 it tells us: Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. We are encouraged train up the children in the right way. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 19:14

Here are some guidelines for us to follow in bringing up our children in the fear of God. Deuteronomy 6:4-7

4. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
