DELIVERANCE FROM THE PLAGUES - IS KNOWING HIS NUMBER

The number of the Beast of Armageddon is 666. (Rev. 13:18)

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make ward with him?" (Rev. 13:1-4)

Notice that this beast has ten crowns upon his horns proving that it represents Papal Rome immediately after the merger with the Dragon, or Papal Rome, the year 331 A.D. Notice that it says, "And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and his seat, and great authority." (verse 2) The Dragon was introduced unto prophecy in the previous chapter (12) and is here to take part in the battle of Armageddon. It represents an earthly power with great authority which was given over to this Roman government. Satan incarnate in human government.

While it's seat and power and great authority was given over to the Pope with Church and State united. Paganism continued and the Church at Rome was saturated with idolatrous teachings and practices.

Notice verse 4, it said, "Who is able to make war with him?" and all the people whose names WERE NOT WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE, WORSHIPED HIM. Surely it is of great importance who and what this is. That is one reason whey we are informed of the blessings in store for all who read and hear the prophecy of this Book. (Rev. 1:1-3)

The beast represents Rome before and during the period of the little horn. (Daniel 7:8, 24) Their work is the same. The little horn made war on the Saints 1260 days or years. Note this beast makes war with them forty and two months which is exactly the same length of time, with the thirty day month as is shone in the Bible. It says in Daniel 7:8, 20, that it had a mouth speaking great things. We find here the same thing, "A mouth speaking great things." (Rev. 13:5)

Note with care that one of the heads of this beast was wounded by the sword, but the deadly wound was healed, and then the whole world wondered after the BEAST. It was the Papal head with the little horn that was wounded, and then comes back again, and makes war against the Saints at the very closing period of this Gentile age. No man can by or sell unless he has the "Mark of the Beast." (verse 17) This is in the future, but soon to take place, for all Bible prophecy must and will come to pass. Notice that the beast with the little horn (Daniel 7) makes war with the Saints and prevails against them "UNTIL THE ANCIENT OF DAYS COMES," and time for the Saints to possess the Kingdom. (verse 21-22) This beast or Roman power, was wounded when what history calls "the Holy Roman Empire" was broken up, the year 1798 under the work of Napoleon. Now Rome has come back, and the influence of the power of Rome is being felt more and more especially through the ecclesiastical system. The European Nations and other nations are united with Catholicism as well as "The World Council of Churches," because they have one common enemy.

This is why they are draw together, a worldly set-up against Israel, and against those of the Gentiles that loves Israel and are observing the Bible Sabbath, the same as Israel. They are being classed together with the Jews by the "Federation of Churches." To be cast out with them as evil. This is shaping up in the U.S. now and through the passing of Sunday laws in different states.

The NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, now operating in Europe is a reviving of the same territory know in history as the "Holy Roman Empire," as it has been said and published that the Pope is the head and director of this organization, hence it represents a "revival of Rome" or the healing of the "wounded head." Remember that this same beast is on of the three divisions of the world, that takes part in ARMAGEDDON, with the DRAGON and FALSE PROPHET. (Rev. 16:13-14)

THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST

"Here is wisdom. Let hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." (Rev. 13:18) In the ancient Chaldean name of Italy which was Saturnia, Rome was called the city of Saturn. The Chaldean numerals in the word Saturnia gives the number (666). Rome was the fourth universal kingdom (Daniel 7:23) to rule the whole Gentile world and the prophet said the fourth beast was the fourth kingdom. This beast is the one appearing in Rev. 13, with the incarnation of all four BEAST TOGETHER.

Now the prophet said that the number of the beast was the number of a MAN. Strange it is but nevertheless true, that the most powerful man associated with the Roman Empire, and who Christened this counterfeit day of the SU, and endorsed it for his people also has this number (666) closely associated with him. The Latin inscription "Vicarius Felii Dei" which means in the place of the Son of God, is said to be on the triple crown of the Pope. It is also to be displayed in Vatican City. The value of the letters in Latin numerals is as follows, VICARIVS --- V is five, I is 1, C is 100, A and R have no value, this word therefore equals 112; FILII, F has no value, I is one, L is 50, II is two, making it 53; DEI --- D is 500, E has no value, I is one making it 501. As we add these sums together, from each of the three words, it makes exactly 666. Which further establishes the Roman Empire as the beast, and it was this man that ruled jointly with the beast, during this period when church and state were united, know in all histories as "THE DARK AGES."

How strange that this dean Latin language should still be living by the values of these Latin numerals, known and taught all over the world. Small children in all civilized countries on earth know that "V" equals five, that "X" equals ten, that "L" is 50, etc. Why have these Latin numerals remained and why are they on display, right on the faces of thousands of watches and clocks, in every part of the world? While this is miraculous, it's purpose is obvious.

The last warning message to go to all the world, "IF ANY MAN WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND RECEIVE HIS MARK IN HIS FOREHEAD, OR IN HIS HAND." (Rev. 14:9) The wine of the wrath of God is clearly set forth as the, "SEVEN LAST PLAGUES." (Rev. 15:1-2 and chapter 16) The identity of this beast must be clearly identified and made known.

Hence these numerals and their value has been preserved for those with wisdom to find the man with the same number as the beast, and then locate the beast. It is the revival of the Roman Empire. It's rebirth again makes Rome a rival with Jerusalem as the Holy City.

The world being in the valley of decision (Joel 3:14), will have to decide either for or against Jerusalem, Israel; the Jew and the Sabbath, or Rome, the World Federation of Churches, and Sunday.

The Almighty has a purpose in these things while to most people they are accidental, and have no meaning. The angel, Gabriel, told Daniel, speaking of this very time, that "the wise shall understand." (Daniel 12:10) The angel also said, "the wicked would not understand."

Notice the reading in Revelation concerning the NUMBER OF THE BEAST. It says, "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six." (Rev. 13:18)
